Last Friday, Chris and I went to a fancy-schmancy dinner hosted by his employer. Both of us had the steak, but halibut was also an option. Yummy fondue appetizers, mashed potatoes, oriental salad with poppyseed dressing, rolls, and of course, a rasberry chocolate dessert. Now that's tasty! Our ward activities committee is hosting a steak dinner this Friday as well. Chris and I have been livin' it up for a little while. We're enjoying it while we can. We definitely don't get a nice dinner every week!

One thing I have noticed about Micah: Instead of having to feel his bottle on his mouth to start feeding, he will open his mouth as he sees it coming to him. He is also curious about what is around him. Sometimes, it is hard for me to hold him, because he is squirming so much trying to look around him. And he still has big feet.

Although I wanted a Christmas-y theme for my journal this month, I decided on the travel theme. Chris and I are explosively excited on traveling to Missouri to visit family this Christmas! No palm trees in MO. However, we can say that the palm trees represent my desire to be in a more tropical climate right now. We don't have a ton of snow (which surprises me). But, it's still cold, hence my desires... Someday...
